Next up was a visit to the Johnsons of the mid-west. My brother, David and his wife Dee along with son Jack live in Ohio. My niece is currently attending William and Mary and will graduate this year. My parents shamefully live across the river in Kentucky. Upon arriving our first task was to get family photos taken. So here we all are. Aren't we adorable?

We hardly saw Jack as he was spending all his time working on the school's robot for an upcoming robotics competition. He is trying to get in good with our inevitable robot overlords. They did very well in the competition finishing 4th out of 47 teams. I could not have been more impressed with these young people that dedicated so much time, effort and passion to this fascinating project/competition. They also earned a huge new fan in Sheri.
Sheri and my mom completed a few puzzles in their free time. Here they are with a bunch of cereal boxes. Aren't they adorable?

All the middle age Johnsons did an escape room. It was a mafia themed room. We did manage to escape with a hint or two. Just look how proud Dave is (and clearly how much fun he had). Aren't we adorable?

We spent an afternoon with one of our travel buddies, Claudia and her dog Zoey. Clearly adorable. Plans were made. Where will we be off to next?

While shopping at the grocery store I came across this abomination. While I found it mostly funny it also made me very sad. 'Merica!!! Looking forward to escaping soon.

And that's it. Here is one more picture of us. Aren't we adorable?

Next up it's on a plane and heading to Massachusetts.
